Join us for the CWMA Annual Conference, British Columbia’s premier waste management industry networking event!

A forum for awareness -building and action-oriented discussions, this annual event brings together the waste management community to exchange knowledge, inspire solutions, and make connections!
In 2025, we are flashing back to 1995 to celebrate 30 years. We have built a Legacy of Solutions and want to keep looking forward to a Future of Possibilities.
We take great pride in curating a relevant and action-oriented program. Unique to our hybrid event are a number of pre-conference virtual-only sessions to make the most of our community connections and maximize the learning.

Last year, we welcomed 348 delegates both in-person and virtually. Delegates who attend are involved in recycling, composting, extended product stewardship, marine debris collection, waste disposal, waste education, consulting, and managing solid waste facilities.
Delegates come from across British Columbia and North America. In 2024, 39% were from Vancouver Island and our Coastal Communities, 35% from Metro Vancouver, 11% from the rest of BC, and 15% from outside BC.
We welcome a balance of municipalities, regional districts, private corporations, stewardship organizations, and non-profits. Delegates are from all levels within their organizations, from technicians to managers.
Delegates are involved in recycling, composting, extended product stewardship, marine debris collection, waste disposal, hauling, waste education, consulting, and managing solid waste facilities and landfills.
This fantastic hybrid event will offer delegates three days of inspiring speakers, panel discussions, workshops, and valuable networking opportunities.
In-person is always a hit! Face-to-face interaction at activities and events with many branded marketing opportunities and benefits.
Our Virtual Booths have proven to be well-visited with an easy-to-browse experience for attendees and a fabulous showcase for your marketing assets.
Watch this space for the addition of some of the most amazing supporters for this event and all of our work!
