BC Tipping Fee Tracker: Search, Sort & Compare

Available to CWMA members only, on request. Updated quarterly or as needed.

BC landfill and transfer station fees are spread across dozens of bylaws, PDFs and web pages, and many aren’t dated. We’ve pulled them into one workbook so you don’t have to go looking.

What’s inside

• Fees from nearly 70 landfills and transfer stations in 28 regional district areas
• More than 160 material types in 10 categories, including household garbage, C&D, mattresses, tires, gypsum, organics, asbestos and surcharges
• Fee Lookup tab: one row per facility and material, which you can filter and sort by region, material, rate or minimum charge
• BC Tipping Fees tab: facilities side by side, so you can compare them at a glance
• Update Log: what changed, when it took effect and where each figure came from

How current is it?
We started from a 2025 baseline. In 2026 we checked it against source bylaws three times, in July, September and November. The November round brought North Okanagan, Squamish, Whistler, Thompson-Nicola and Fraser-Fort George up to their 2026 rates.
