For those that will attend in person, you will have access to the virtual aspects too! Your in-person experience will be at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort and your virtual experience will be accessed on our amazing EventMobi virtual platform. All attendees can interact together via chat, live Q&A during plenary sessions, plus all the great sponsor and networking interactions a hybrid event offers.

Group Pricing Breaks | We can work with organizations who would like to send 4 or more people in person or virtually. Please email us to discuss.
Our virtual attendance option is a great way to inform, inspire, and build awareness of current industry challenges and successes to team members that would benefit in learning more but who may not deal with solid waste all time: board members, solid waste committees, and even elected officials who are part of your work with solid waste
Students & Grassroots Pricing | Each year, the CWMA Board, with the gracious support of our sponsors, provides a limited number of Grassroots & Student passes at a reduced price for delegates from organizations that depend on grants and donations to operate, or for students that are enrolled in full time studies relating to waste management or the environment. Applications must be received by September 12, 2024 at 4:00 PM pacific time. LEARN MORE/APPLY

Book Exchange. Be sure to bring a book to share and swap!
Tours & Activities are set later in the summer and options will be sent out to registered delegates for sign up closer to the event. Some tours may have an additional fee to cover the cost of transportation.
Car Pooling options will be sent to all in-person delegates in early October.
Accessibility: We will reach out to all attendees before the event for any accessibility requirements. If you need something to help make your participation at our event better, let us know.
GST exempt? Please email us. We are happy to do an invoice.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received in writing on or before October 11, 2024 at 4:00 PM pacific time are fully refundable but may be subject to a $40 processing fee. No refunds or credits will be issued after October 18, 2024 but exceptions will be considered by the Board for compelling reasons (e.g. personal health emergency). Non-payment or non-attendance does not constitute cancellation.
